Thank you to all Missourians who voted in the recent elections. A BIG thank you to all those who voted for me! I still believe our government needs an influx of everyday citizens in order to keep it responsive and fresh, even though the professional political class seems determined that the one with the most money will always win.

The most important message I began with is to get involved, and to VOTE!!  Despite low turnout in the primary, a record high voter turnout is expected in the general election this fall. It will be very exciting to see first time voters coming out in force. It would be wonderful for apathetic voters to feel there is finally something for them to care about.  Election workers will be needed in every precinct in Missouri - if you are not working for a specific campaign, I urge you to consider volunteering to work for your local election board.

Remember - if you fall to exercise your right to vote, then there is no one else to blame for the government we get.
